Today the 3rd Cohort of the Uganda Democracy Academy began its 2 semester journey, a life changing path i also took last year.
A worthwhile journey, it was and hopefully it is for them. The leadership at @NimdUganda saw it fit for past alumnus to share with the fresh Cohort.#uda
It was a pleasure sharing with you Honourable Minister. Engaging young people about these critical issues is a fundamental step in the right direction.
Onwards, upwards. Looking forward to other profound engagements.
I had the honor of welcoming Her Excellency Frederieke Quispel, the Dutch Ambassador to Uganda, to the Ministry of Gender offices earlier this morning. She was accompanied by the Ugandan Youth Advisory Board and members of her team. Our meeting also brought together technical officials from the ministry.
We engaged in fruitful discussions on pressing issues affecting Ugandan youth, including early teenage pregnancy, youth empowerment and human rights ahead of elections . I'm grateful for Her Excellency's genuine interest in Uganda's well-being, particularly her commitment to supporting the country's young people. Thank you, Her Excellency, for your love and dedication to Uganda.

Had a fantastic weekend in Hoima! Attended the City and District Council Plus—Nakaseke District Council—and had the pleasure of sharing with the students about servant leadership. Excited for what’s ahead.

Join us tomorrow and Thursday 3rd October for the African Youth Convention on AFCFTA, Peace and Security, and I will be honored to moderate one of the panels.
See you there!
Through pledging, we are on course to break the silence. Over the last weeks, students-administrators have in unison said no to GBV. A pledge can raise awareness and unearth this evil. With one day to the launch of #safercampusescampaign, make a pledge and break the silence.
The countdown is on, 4 days to the launch of the safer campuses campaign in Uganda. Join us this 4th of October as we make a statement against gender based violence in Institutions of higher learning.
The time is now, lets break the silence.
