Great to see an increase in #renewables at #mining operations. Long-term #energy#sustainability within the sector will drive efficiency and productivity. It will also make African mining more competitive in terms of production vs cost of extraction.
@CyrilRamaphosa Let’s be objective, most children getting the 30% have limited access to much which the others getting 70%+ on average have - compounding this is the parental and familial support structures available. Sadly, most of those kids with 30% passes are unemployable, for the long term.
@CityPowerJhb Hey guys, we’re connected to this sub, and the power was off all of yesterday for maintenance, and though it wasn’t supposed to be off today, it has just abruptly cut. Wilgeheuwel.
@CityPowerJhb Oh my freaking word okes, 16 hours later and still no update. It’s in Dolce street, like 20m is gone, pretty much the whole street. What’s the ETA on a replacement?
@CityPowerJhb Cmon guys, 12 hours to find out where the cable was cut and stolen? Seriously? It’s close to Dezemba, I know, and thieves are looking for Xmas gifts since non work in the formal sector, but thousands of us that do are trying to add value while managing this. Please get cable asap
@TelkomZA Jirr this was the worst day for this to happen on top of everything last week, truly; cancelled meetings, irate clients, and no ETA on when the challenge will be resolved🏻♂️
PS. Why are your sales guys calling to sell LTE at the same time when the network is down countrywide?
@TelkomZA Goodness, for a moment I thought I was going crazy; LTE has been atrocious for a week now, round about this time every night. What’s happening?
What in the ANC is going on here?
- The ANC tried to implement eTolls.
- South Africans saw corruption and said no.
- The ANC tried even harder to implement them (do you remember the monthly invoices?).
- South Africans saw corruption and said no.
- The ANC continued to try to implement it for 11 years.
- South Africans saw corruption and said no.
The whole concept failed because South Africans said no. The only part the ANC played is that they kept trying to implement it... for almost 11 years.
And now the ANC are celebrating a failed concept that they tried to implement but it didn't work because South Africans saw corruption and said no.
I bet you that we all still get an invoice this month.
South Africa is a movie. 😂🤣
*Thank you to all the South Africans who stood up against this and @OUTASA (the real heroes here).
@CityPowerJhb Any updates on wilgeheuwel as part of this? I see the comments are littered with notes about block 11 so just checking if anyone at CP has acknowledged this.
@CityPowerJhb I genuinely think something blew in Nic Diederichs road or the surrounds; a loud crack was heard just as the power came on. Wilgeheuwel, close to the T-junction with Hendrik Potgieter.
@CityPowerJhb Hey guys, as the power came through in block 11 at 22:15 there was a loud crack in the street and then it went off again. Could be a possible box blown on Nic Diederichs road, Wilgeheuwel.
@pietleroux@The_PPRA Want an easy solution? Work for a black boss, and then demand all the good things ALL employees do, contractually. They’ll end up in the same place as everyone else; selling due to poor education among the majority of candidates. Overpopulation will then have everyone sellling.
@AFranzsen@hiltontarrant I thought I gave enough hints in the preceding tweets, but evidently not. Case closed actually, I’ll just wait for things to unfold. Bless ✊
@AFranzsen@hiltontarrant The one triggered by potential lack of freedoms for outliers on the bell curve isn’t me. CT will have it’s own Buffalo Bill soon enough, and then we’ll talk again, differently, about this.
