In order to check/ ensure safety preparedness to cater an emergency, OGRA Enforcement Team visited PSO Depot, Sihala & Shell Depot Chaklalla. During the visit, fire safety drills were conducted and safety briefing were also taken.

Enforcement Team comprising of Mr. Rahil Pitafi, Mr. Sallar Naveed and Ms. Sidra Younis inspected premises of various LPG Distributor/ Decanter outlets in Sector E-18 and G-15 Islamabad. Various hazards were identified and conveyed to the operators of the premises.

Chairman OGRA, Mr. Masroor Khan, participated in an event organized by National Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (NEECA) on launch of the prefeasibility report on ‘Green Hydrogen’ in Pakistan.
Mr. Khan underscored substantial potential inherent in the project and provided firm assurance of support to potential investors and shed light on the challenges entailed in implementing green hydrogen, specifically the intricacies of integrating it into the existing gas network.
These challenges encompass pipeline integrity, safety considerations, and imperative of meeting revenue requirements. The launch of prefeasibility report serves as a testament to collective commitment for progressing towards a more sustainable and resilient energy landscape.
