@TfemChildOfGod @ShitpostGate As a game developer (Yknow, the main victims of piracy), I think it is entirely moral and within one's right to pirate software. Companies wont miss your 10 dollars, and sometimes media cant be purchased entirely (such as GBA games), so the only way to acess them is piracy.

@RolusOutskirts I think every game dev gets messages from at least one of these type of people. I'm a roblox dev who has an unpopular game and I still get DMs from kids asking to either buy or work on my game like, buddy no. A kid asked to buy for 500 and the game already made 5k at that point.

@DramaAlert I hope they go down the route of restricting the site rather than shutdown. As a developer whose main engine is Roblox studio, it would be devastating for all my 4 years of work to go down the drain. Not to mention all the real passion projects on the platform that will be lost.

@8BitClosedFist Fun fact if your a game dev:
Add a FPS counter that people can enable. Make it lie. Say they have 60-120 FPS when they have 30. I shit you not, you will get praise for how well your game runs and how high FPS the players are getting.
In reality, they can't tell the difference.

@ReviewsPossum dawg it takes 2 creative braincells to make a good character visual design, whenever I see a character that in no way represents their role in the story/game, it kills me. Concord was probably the worst offender I've ever seen. Genuinely what is wrong in their heads.

@ShitpostRock I'm convinced anyone calling GOW slop hasn't played god of war. I play plenty of indie games (Hell, I make them) and firmly believe 90% of modern triple-A is awful, but both newer god of war games made me legitimately cry a couple times. They are amazing games.
