@kwadwosheldon Commentator 1: “Why aren’t the South African players attacking?”
Commenatator2: “it’s because the Mexicans are white, they only attack when they see black people”
I voted for Peter Obi in the last election after they counted the total votes casted in my ward and Obi won, I went back to my hotel.
I regretted that action, never again
So this election, after casting my vote and counting it in my ward, I will be following the inec returning officer to AMAC and making sure Obi wins there too, if possible I will park at ICC gate and make sure Peter Obi is declared the winner before driving back to my hotel this time around.
If the mandate is stolen again, this time around I will start protest from there straight to the National Assembly.
A rich couple in Asokoro hired a 19 year old house help from the village.
Six months later, the wife became convinced the girl was sleeping with her husband 😭
Then one afternoon, she came home earlier than expected, and what she saw completely shocked her 😭
The husband had become impossible to live with. Always angry. Always shouting. Always coming home late.
The wife herself was frustrated too. Every small thing became an argument.
Even the children started avoiding the sitting room whenever both parents were together. The tension in that house was heavy.
Then the new house help arrived. Quiet, obidient and very respectful girl.
She woke up before everyone. Cooked meals exactly the way the husband liked.
Kept the children calm whenever their father returned from work tired or angry.
Sometimes she would gently tell the wife: "Madam, maybe let Oga rest small first before discussing problems."
At first, the wife ignored it. But slowly, she started noticing something strange.
Then one afternoon she walked into the kitchen unexpectedly, and saw her husband laughing with the house help.
Laughing freely. The kind she had not heard from her husband in years.
Her heart dropped immediately. She quietly stood by the door expecting the worst.
But instead of reacting, she stayed quiet and watched closely for days.
Then she noticed something shocking: The girl wasn’t trying to take her husband. She was secretly trying to save the marriage.
She would calm the husband before arguments started.
Encourage the wife to speak softer during tense moments.
Distract the children whenever fights were about to begin.
Slowly, the tension inside the house started disappearing.
The couple began talking again. Eating together again. Laughing again.
That small girl from the village became the unexpected peacemaker in that family again.
Years later, the couple sponsored the girl education abroad. Today, she’s still treated like family.
Sometimes the person you suspect the most is the same person holding your home together. That house help didn't come with a degree. She came with wisdom.
Have you ever misjudged someone's intentions before?
My take on Alex Otti and the bus terminal.
The Prof. has received lots of praise, it's fine but she was doing her job.
Naming a government project in her name is excessive.
There are limits to certain things.
