If this data leads to what I believe, the same fringe Bernie -> Trump voters that won Republicans the presidency in 2016 will become the exact demographic to vote against GOP in 2026. Many of whom rarely vote and/or haven’t since 2016 for Trump.
Adams County having a high turnout is disaster for GOP. Lemme explain ⬇️
It’s a Republican stronghold affected by data centers. People in the community are organizing against the takeover.
Notably, Putsch got 30% here in the primary.
Those votes ain’t for Vivek or Husted.
The Ohio Secretary of State has begun publishing very detailed early voting turnout data, so I took that and turned it into some interactive maps.
The SoS updates the data daily, so I will be doing the same.

@dimit_brady07 I agree. I also think the Unaffiliated voters map is important. I believe the data issue has captured that fringe group of rural voters that followed the Bernie —> Trump pipeline, who possibly have not voted since 2016 or before.
@AndrewZelman@OPoliticsguru I think in this election we will see two things:
1. registered republicans not voting/voting against their candidate; and
(Most importantly)
2. Independent/fringe voters show up in droves against data centers.
@OPoliticsguru Adams Co does have a small population and this could be isolated; but, its early vote is substantially higher than previous election years.
Vivek and Husted can’t afford to lose any rural votes but it appears that is happening.
