Happy Constitution Day, Poland!
Japan and Poland share many things in common, but it is really unique that we celebrate the constitution on the same day.
Constitution of Japan came into effect on May 3 1947, and so our “Kenpo Kinenbi(Constitution Memorial Day)” on that day. We can feel this happy coincidence 🇯🇵🇵🇱 every year.
I learned so much about Japanese culture from all your replies 🇯🇵❤️
In Shinto, the idea of “eight million gods” isn’t about choosing one single God like in the West.
Instead, it’s wonderfully practical and full of warmth:
• Different kami watch over different parts of life, from exams and love to safe childbirth and traffic safety
• Many people regularly visit their local shrine, whose deity is believed to protect their home and community
• At its heart, everything comes from a deep sense of gratitude toward all things even a single grain of rice is said to have its own small god 🍚
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything to me! 🙏
I’m truly happy and grateful. Learning directly from all of you who live in Japan is the best and most precious way to understand Japanese culture. I love this so much! ⛩️🏮❤️
This has been one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had on X. Thank you again! 😊
I keep saying: if environmentalists really cared about the environment, they’d be finding ways to sabotage China’s fishing fleet. Instead, they’re complaining about plastic straws.
