@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS The Forgetting was a great book, and the revelations that were uncovered near the end of the book made is 10x as good. It also helped answer a lot of the questions I had while reading this story. And something that I will take away from this story is that the truth can be right-
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS I was very surprised at the fact that Janis ended up dying. I'm also really surprised about the fact that Rose is Nadia's grandmother and that Gretchen was her Aunt. All in all, I'm satisfied with the ending and am looking forward to reading the sequel to this book, the Knowing.
@ReaganG_93 @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS She is threatening Nadia that she would do something to Genivee (Nadia's younger sister) if she didn't tell her the code to the bunker.
@AlyssaA_93 @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS So far, we know that she's been trying to find out where they all came from, if there are other people beyond the walls from Canaan, who built Canaan, and if there's a way to stop the Forgetting from happening.
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS -running around outside the walls for hours on end. Sometimes, all night. This is why she'll need something with lots of calories and carbs, and something healthy to get her the right nutrients and minerals. In the text-
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS -Canaan's citizens might have been able to figure something out, or find other people. We would probably be able to find the answers to any of the questions that have been posed by Nadia so far about Canaan and its people.
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS The setting of The Forgetting is a city called Canaan. Canaan is a small, walled-off city, made from white, cut stone. If the setting was different, then there wouldn't be as much mystery surrounding Canaan's origins, or the maybe even about the Forgetting. This is because-
@93Graces @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS Well, they seem to be working together right now, but Liliya could betray to get rid of her. Because Nadia said, if Liliya helped her , then she would leave. But if Nadia doesn't keep her promise, it's likely Liliya would betray her.
@93Graces @Trum93 @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS Liliya is jealous because Nadia gets more attention than her, even thought Liliya is the pretty one. And Nadia doesn't even want the attention.
@AsmaA_9393 @MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS Because Liliya believes that Nadia isn't really part of their family since she doesn't look like them.
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS@CameronSharonE -I have is, why does Nadia's mom not like plants in the house. I know it's because Nadia's father left them and he used to be a planter, so it would remind her of him. But she shouldn't be able to remember that because of the Forgetting and the fact he altered all of their books.
@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC@SchwabSMS@CameronSharonE So far, I'm liking the Forgetting. It is a bit confusing, but that goes without saying, considering that only Nadia remembers everything. But I am excited to see how all the holes are filled and which direction the story goes in. And a question-
