In therapy I learned that when I see someone is upset, feeling "fragility", or discomfort, my tendency is to fawn and make people feel better and my therapist reminds me that sometimes ppl need to feel discomfort.

@sheologian In college, we were playing guess your professors. They would read facts and you had to guess who is what. I guessed the professor because they looked upset when I laughed after they announced one of the profs had written a book about Burning Man.
