And so our time in Iceland has come to an end 😢 This morning we spent some time in Reykjavik and enjoyed spending our króna in the shops and cafes of ‘Rainbow Street’. We also took a ‘flight’ on @FlyOverIceland which was incredible! Now to fly home! 🛬
Another super busy day! Hraunfossar and Barnafoss this morning, followed by a visit to the mighty Viogelmir lava tube cave. After relaxing in the relaxing waters of Krauma Geothermal baths, we hiked up the Grabrok crater. 💦 🪨🩱🥾
We have visited the Golden Circle 🟡today. Stops included Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most 📷 waterfalls, Geysir where we saw fumaroles emanating steam & gas, and Thingvellir National Park. Another amazing day!
This afternoon it’s been icebergs all the way! First we saw them floating in Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon and then up close on the stunning black sand Diamond Beach. What an experience!
We have arrived in 🇮🇸 and have headed straight to the bridge between the continents! The weather is glorious and we are so excited for the next few days! #lovegeography
We have an A level student who is keen to do some extra reading on hazards. Apart from Disaster by Choicem what other titels would you recommend? @kate_stockings@HeadofGeog @jmbgeog
@CroydonHighGeo@The_GA@CroydonHigh Looks great - would you be willing to share if I sent you an email address? Our microclimate investigation could do with a revamp!
@lfreegeography@InternetGeog We have a subscription but I cannot find these case studies on the site. Did you do the formatting/design and take the information from the site? Many thanks.
