@gpehatter Some people saying Clark was saying goodbye, I'm not so sure...
He was emotional because we weren't able to get the play-offs, as it really matters to him.
The same way he was devastated at full-time at West brom last year, as it really matters to him.
He loves it here with us.
@HattersHeritage Dan Potts was a model pro for us.
In or out of the team, left-back, centre-back, his attitude and approach was the same - do his best to help the team.
We were so lucky to have the likes of him, Sonny, Pearson, Berry, Hylts, Collo, Glen Rea, and of course, Pelly, over the years!
@ltfclouis There's a lot to like about Wells.
Has had 2 decent through balls down the middle into his feet all season, and tucks both away very nicely.
It's not his fault that nobody on the coaching staff aims for his teammates to replicate that service!
Works hard, makes intelligent runs.
@LutonTown Moments, duels, transitions...
We come there for the love of football, not be bored stiff by joyless, dull tactics and have our intelligence insulted by equally dull, repetitive interviews which sound like a corporate PowerPoint being read out.
Been dire to witness every week.
@Russltfc I like Mads.
For this division, if the ball comes near him, it won't be near our goal for long, as he'll head it or clear it.
Read the game well today, and as time goes on the more he'll start to trust his own body again and forge partnerships around him.
@Ollieargyle9 Trust me, as a Luton fan, we're not thrilled about the prospect of having another game to watch, we've been so joyless to watch for the last two seasons!
@wearelutontown Dire.
No cause for optimism at all.
So many seasoned fans who were with us all through the Conference years have long since stopped looking forward to games.
Hylts, McCormack, Bradley, Pelly, Berry, Rea, Potts, Collo, real characters and proper professionals.
Sorely missed.
@gaz_fb He's hardly had any decent passes to his feet all season.
Playing him up front by himself and hoofing it up there for him to jump against 6ft + centre-halves all game has been lunacy all season.
Carlton Morris last year never had any decent service either all season.
@LutonsTactico Elijah is a cracking player.
When Big Mick was involved in his development, he did great. Then NJ ran him into the ground, and Edwards ran him into the ground.
Part of our problems are that our players simply haven't been looked after or rested properly for ages, esp. pre-season.
@sassyAfc A manager gets the keeper and centre-backs to play 4-foot passes in their own box, putting them under totally unnecessary pressure straight away, only to be lumped up field just as it would if they'd taken a proper goal-kick in the first place.
@TheCinesthetic Local cinema was showing Jaws recently.
I went to see it purely for this moment.
Well, that and "Farewell and adieu, to you fair Spanish ladies..."
@Ironman_LTFC Ref and his assistants were bangon all game.
Best I'd seen all season by a mile.
They always used to say the sign of a good ref is that you don't really notice they're there!
@FA Special Christmas wishes to the officials at the @LutonTown v @wwfcofficial game.
All of them were spot on throughout the game, and were by far the best officiating team we've seen all season.
@AJ_Wood15 Luton are always there for the taking.
Play 1 up front at home to bottom of the league, pass it sideways or backwards most of the game, only wake up after 75 minutes most games, and play 5 at the back, despite it having been a totally failed system for us for a season and a half.
@LutonNews_LTFC It's the lack of entertainment in the last 18 months that's been awful, and removed the enthusiasm of so many fans for each match day.
Jordan Clark and James Shea represent the last stalwarts of when we could be really proud of the team.
How we miss the likes of Luke Berry.
@OfficialPVFC Yep, fair play to Vale fans, top drawer!
Apologies for the standard of football Luton offered you as a spectacle, us starting 4 centre-backs was unlikely to set up a classic!
We've had a season and a half without entertainment, so the half-time Salvation Army was a highlight! :)
@LutonTown@RBarkley8 I remember at home to Liverpool, he had about 4 of their players around him, just danced and shimmied his way out of trouble like he was having a laugh in the park with his mates, not up against seasoned internationals in the Premier League!
Privilege to see him in a Luton shirt.
