First sentence is off base. This is pro sports now and programs like Dayton are virtually 100% reliant on fans for revenue. TV money is minuscule. NCAA units drying up. Prices are going to go way up.

Dayton is risk averse. Always has been. Spina and Neil know what they currently do "works" on a balance sheet and for most of the fan base. They still get MTEs and national recognition. They don't want to gamble for more and blow what they have.
