@Alakatunde@swag_lukarz Another reason why these rechargeable fans pack up quickly is using them while charging it. Doing this deteriorates the battery.
I met Janine Roberts in Cape Town, and her story perfectly captures the power of entrepreneurship.
After going through the Tony Elumelu Foundation @TonyElumeluFDN ’s Entrepreneurship Programme @tefconnect in 2016, Janine built Ukama Contract Packing into a growing enterprise employing 30+ people.
On my birthday, I shared a reflection on hope - not just as an idea, but a system we can intentionally build.
If you missed it , this short video captures a powerful milestone : the announcement of our 2026 cohort — 3,200 young Africans selected from over 265,000 applications, representing all 54 African countries.
@MRmneyheod This is false.
There has been no announcement from Tony Elumelu or United Bank for Africa about any sale.
It’s honestly wild how some people will push anything just for engagement or payouts tied to impressions without considering the gravity of your action.
Today, I turn a year older. And every year on this day, I reflect on something far bigger than me.
For a long time, I believed luck was something that just happens to you. Then I realised, luck can be engineered. Opportunity can be democratised.
Hope is not just a feeling; it is a system we can build.
Tomorrow, I mark my birthday.
But more importantly, 3,200 entrepreneurs across Africa will be empowered—advancing shared prosperity and building Africa together
Creating opportunities for our youth remains the true celebration.

Last night in Paris, I sat with President Macron @EmmanuelMacron and fellow leaders of the Africa France Impact Coalition, and the conversation kept coming back to the same truth: Africa’s greatest asset is her youth.
Through the Tony Elumelu Foundation, we have seen time and again that when we empower women, we empower not just individuals, but entire communities and nations. We cannot achieve the transformation of our continent without women at the centre of it - they are the backbone of our society.
Happy International Women’s Day!

When we invest in young entrepreneurs, we do not just support individuals, we strengthen communities, reduce poverty, create jobs, and enable rural economies to grow from within.
Youth migration is often a symptom of economic exclusion. That is why, at the Tony Elumelu Foundation, 21 per cent of the 24,000 entrepreneurs we have empowered operate in agriculture and agribusiness.
We are only a few days into 2026. Early in the year, gyms are full — by the end of January, far fewer remain.
It’s a familiar pattern: enthusiasm is common; discipline and consistency are rare (and yes, I’m guilty too).
Africa's productivity story in the digital age will depend not just on algorithms or infrastructure, but on INCLUSION - Giving every young African the tools, the power, and the opportunity to create prosperity.
Technology must serve humanity, not replace it.
#DigitalInclusion #TOEWay.
@Beautiful_Nubia It’s really heart breaking.
I remember when Fashola was carrying out his plant a tree project in Lagos, one older tenant uprooted the one in front of the house with the excuse that it will bring bad omen. I have never been so disgusted in my life with such a backward mentality.
