“Museveni does not want corruption” is a laughable statement at best, if not an oxymoron of sorts!
In the last six months alone, he's appointed a cabinet with officials named in corruption scandals, his govt discontinued the prosecution of corrupt officials, & he’s LITERALLY done nothing to show seriousness against corruption apart from talking!
None! As a Ugandan traveling out of E.A, all you get is disrespect, ridicule, always being thrown to the back of the queue, and endless questions about Ebola, Bobi Wine and why we don’t want to change our president. Our passport is truly worthless.

RATIONALISATION OF GOV'T EXPENDITURE:
The PSST Dr @rggoobi has said that effective next FY 2026/27, @GovUganda will not spend money on organising public functions (public holidays) including: Women's day,Labour day,Independence day etc). He says money will only be spent on the few religious functions.
According to Dr.Ggoobi,H.E the President @KagutaMuseveni will address Ugandans on Radio and Television from State House, adding that the money saved will be used to finance the priorities of Gov't (ATMS & Enablers).
Someone needs to remind govt of Uganda that the newly passed Protection of Sovereignty Act, 2026, prohibits foreigners or their agents from implementing Govt Programs. It would mean a Foreigner can't be part of the cabinet, since its core function is to implement govt policy
Our comrade Nazziwa Agatha, aka Blue Tick, was abducted by armed men in military uniform on 9th April as she went to attend the vigil of comrade Waiswa's wife, Edith Katende. Since then, she's been missing - under incommunicado detention. Only yesterday, the military filed this Return to the Habeas Corpus order issued by the High Court, denying holding her in any of their facilities. In the evening, they released her from the DIS (CMI) Headquarters - Mbuya. As always, they ordered her not to ever again associate with @NUP_Ug, else she'd face dire consequences. She says she was held at various detention places and subjected to incredible torture. As we welcome her from this painful ordeal, we condemn the continuing lawlessness and impunity. Grateful to all comrades and the legal team for working hard to push for her freedom.

Kabaka Mulondo indeed fell in love or slept with his mother in law (he didn’t know though) and when he was informed, he realized the mistake he had made. And created this practice that stands up today. Mulondo’s foresight in addition to Baganda not sleeping with people of the same clan has preserved the Baganda up today. When relatives sleep with each other, there is a likely chance that they will pass on hereditary diseases to each other. That is how the Bachwezi disappeared….
