1 / How to actually set up a trading strategy on OKO. No code, just a few decisions.

2 / Step 1: Open Strategy Studio and pick your Coin Source: a static coin list, the AI500 top-coins pool, or OI Top ranking.

3 / Step 2: Turn on the indicators you want the AI to weigh: EMA, MACD, RSI, ATR, Volume, Open Interest, Funding Rate. This is what feeds its analysis.

4 / Step 3: Set Risk Controls: leverage limits, max open positions, margin usage cap, position size limits. This is your guardrail, not the AI's.

5 / Step 4 (optional): Add a Custom Prompt if you want to give the AI extra instructions or bias, for example "avoid low-liquidity coins" or "favor mean-reversion setups."

6 / Save the strategy, then assign it to a Trader (AI model, exchange, and this strategy) to run it live. Before that, run it through Backtest Lab first to see how it would've performed historically.

OKO supports both centralized exchanges like Binance and fully onchain ones like Hyperliquid, no KYC required on the latter.

Different traders want different tradeoffs between liquidity and custody.

A security question we hear often: could OKO ever access funds it shouldn’t?

Your exchange API key permissions define what any trading tool can do.

For OKO, use trading only keys, keep withdrawals disabled, and add an IP allowlist wherever your exchange supports it.

Those are baseline controls, not a favor to us.

We'd rather you find out a strategy doesn't work in a backtest than in a live account.
