Win or lose, @CowboyFB looks better than they have in a while! Now keep the foot on the gas in the second half…you know Oregon will be ready when they come out!
Most of the negative I am seeing from OSU fans are from people too young to know OSU before the Les Miles and Mike Gundy days. Was yesterday frustrating? Yes but it was not the end of the world. Give Morris and those kids (yes they are kids) a chance.
@ProfMJCleveland We did all the time. Every few weeks, we’d load up the car on Friday after parents got off work at 5pm and drive the 6 hours to my aunt’s house. Stay through Sunday afternoon and drive back home.
@caydenmc And Indiana didn’t do it in year one! Not saying it will happen at OSU, but it’s year one and game one with 91 new players. Only 20 from UNT.
The real story should be the fact that an official went to slo-motion replay to investigate a potential red card. That’s not legal. Then went on to give Balogun a red for something that Messi didn’t even get a yellow for.
THEN the rest of the world saying this is unprecedented, like FIFA didn’t suspend the final two games of a three-match suspension for Cristiano Ronaldo after a VAR review gave him with a red card in Portugal's penultimate qualifying match vs Ireland.
Ronaldo would've otherwise had to miss Portugal's first two games of the tournament.
I don’t love when politics gets involved in sports, but soccer is so corrupt around the world that it was necessary in this case. It was too harsh to eject Balogun for the last 30mins against Bosnia, to suspend him an extra game on top of that would’ve been corruption.
And THEN I’ve never seen a team be as soft as Belgium! Appealing the appeal?! It’s fine for fans and media to say players should be suspended, but imagine the Knicks releasing statements saying Wemby shouldn’t play the next game😂 The teams themselves should want to beat the best! That’s a great sign for the USA tonight. Belgium is terrified!
