OKSTATE TAKES

Embracing the absurdity of college sports

[OKSTATE TAKES @OkstateTakes]

So Oklahoma State fought off OU for an instate DE and UT for the best RB in TX.

Pretty huge statement for the program on the recruiting trail.

.@Ollie_Gordon2 put up video-game numbers down in Texas. Now he’ll make headlines in Stillwater.

@CFBNumbers Did you miss Mestemaker or am I blind?

[OKSTATE TAKES @OkstateTakes]

@38Godfrey If they’re going to cap player pay and coaches pay, can we cap Disney’s FG marketing budget too?

[Feels Like 45 Podcast @FeelsLike45Pod]

I was recently able to watch three North Texas games to get an idea of the type of offense new Head Coach Eric Morris will be bringing to Stillwater. UNT faced Navy, Rice and UTSA in these games.

@statsowar If they left the door open with promo/relegation I don’t think big 12/ACC or even the smaller Power 2 teams would complain that much about a super league. They won’t though, too greedy to compete.

[Caleb Hawkins @CalebHawk2025]

100% committed🟠⚪️ @__CoachMorris @PCobbs43 @CowboyFB

[McClain @McclainBaxley]

Boom! #OKState lands a commitment from North Texas running back Caleb Hawkins, a source tells GoPokes. The Shawnee native rushed for 25 touchdowns, leading the nation.

What do Behran Morton, John Mateer and Spencer Sanders have in common?

[OKSTATE TAKES @OkstateTakes]

We will always have those 3 drives! Best of luck Hauss you deserve it!

[OKSTATE TAKES @OkstateTakes]

@alexmem9 @ESPNRittenberg Yes a very good one. Go look at the 2021 CB roster before the portal and Knowles leaving ripped it apart.

[OKSTATE TAKES @OkstateTakes]

@statsowar If I had any hope they’d leave the door open the future would be exciting.
