In 2003, they voted Obasanjo (Yoruba) over Ojukwu (Igbo).

In 2003 & 2007, having prominent Igbo VP candidates (Okadigbo & Ume-Ezeoke) didn't give Buhari votes in the SE.

In 2011, Goodluck Jonathan got 98% — higher than what Peter Obi got in 2023.

In 2019, Atiku (Fulani) got the exact same 89% that Obi got in 2023.

The South East has always voted as a solid coalition bloc for their preferred national platform — ethnicity was never the requirement.

2023 is the first time they will vote for their own tribe as president and that's not the first time they've had candidates from their tribe.

So shut up you tribal idiots.
