We had a a bank that wouldn't allow us to refinance to a lower rate because we couldn't prove that we could afford the payment which was about $800 less than what we've been paying for the last 25 years

So we told them to fuck off and decided to do everything in our power to pay the mortgage off 7 years early

We accomplished that last January

I bought a house last year. 800+ credit, never missed a payment on anything, and my company and my personal account had been with @Chase for 30 years. Yet they denied giving me a loan for a new home. I withdrew my money from Chase and went to a smaller bank that I had no relationship with. Loan approved.
