🚨 In solidarity with #Greece, #Serbia is deploying a firefighting helicopter through the #EUCivilProtectionMechanism to help combat the #wildfire in Paggaio, Kavala.

We are closely monitoring the situation and stand ready to provide further support to 🇬🇷 authorities if needed.

I have most strongly welcomed the organisation of civil protection exercise #Magnitude by @IMbawue - the biggest and most international #EUCivilProtectionMechanism full-scale exercise ever organised in 🇩🇪.

I am in #BadenWürttemberg, at the EU-funded full-scale civil protection exercise #Magnitude, simulating a major #earthquake. In such events coordination is key that is why 🇪🇺 is supporting 12 🇩🇪 & 8 response teams from 🇦🇹, 🇬🇷, 🇫🇷, 🇨🇭 and other local services exercising together.

As winter approaches and temperatures drop in Ukraine, the EU is once again stepping up.

Another batch of 600 generators from the EU's joint emergency reserves hosted in Poland 🇵🇱 has been delivered to 🇺🇦 to support the critical infrastructure of affected frontline communities.

In response to the deadly #floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have deployed rescue teams from 🇭🇷, 🇸🇮 and 🇷🇸 via the #EUCivilProtectionMechanism.

🇭🇷🇸🇰🇵🇱🇸🇮🇷🇸🇦🇱🇹🇷🇲🇰🇲🇪 have also offered emergency support like teams, pumps, excavators, generators, and more.
