@Evontiamo1 I remember going to the pictures to see the first one, really enjoyed it. The second one was ok. I never saw the end of the thirs one, as it was so bad. Tonight I shal watch Mummy again.
@FolkieBaroque@YesterdaysBrit1 I remember, as a little boy, wondering how complicated they looked with the drum the conductress would adjust and set then with a turn oof a handle, give you your ticket.
@britishshithole I think the lorry driver was making damn sure that white car wasn't going to cut in, they way both of them caught up with that motorcycle.
@ron_eisele I saw this aircraft in another post on X, it is a Royal Navy Seafire. You may be able to sea Royal Navy on the white band at the rear of the fuselage.
@Outlaw__Mike@ron_eisele I just saw this, it is a Seafire, the same planeas in your image and on the white band at the rear of the fuselage is Royal Navy.
@YesterdaysBrit1 And Mum is shouting, 'Will you get out from under my feet!' We did, and we had adventure in the back garden, or in the woods. Who had a 'suicide swing' which was a rope tied to the nough of a tree that reached out over a pond or steep drop?
@Outlaw__Mike@ron_eisele I don't think those are navy roundels, but I could be wrong. The design of the roundels changed quite a bit and I suppose, during the war, there would be mutual support between the services.
