The Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Eddie Moores, kindly hosted the presentation of the Oldham Schools Music Festival awards. The children had a wonderful experience and were particularly interested to see the Council Chambers.

1300 children from Oldham schools spent a spectacular afternoon at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester for our annual ‘Come and Play with The Halle’. Such an amazing opportunity for them to experience listening to and playing with the world-class musicians of the Hallé.

WHIT FRIDAY: Youth Brass Band played consistently at close to their peak at all 7 contests . Our marching received some of the biggest crowd reactions of the night and our playing of "Collaroy" on the stand was top notch.
Yet again this group of young students have done us proud

Youth Brass Band won 3 prizes at the @NCMME ‘Bold as Brass’ Contest.
They wowed the crowd with an impressive formation marching display and then went on to perform their programme "How the West Riding Was Won".
