1) This legislation CANNOT be used against American companies or users.

2) The only products captured are controlled by North Korea, Iran, Russia, and China and even if you’re controlled, then you have to pose a national security threat, that requires public notification and a congressional role.

3) This bill is clear, if national security threat isn’t addressed through divestment, then Apple, Google, and web services must not service a foreign adversary-owned platform

4) If you just block them from app stores, they could still exist on the web and the same threat remains. Like with rip and replace for Huawei, you need real enforcement to root out the Chinese espionage out of our system.
