My mom’s morning message from Kyiv: “The explosions were loud, but I am OK: making coffee, before the electricity goes off and washing my hair while the water is still running”. And then she took her torch and went to make military nets in the bomb shelter. What a reality!

I came to Kyiv for 2 weeks to see my family and friends. Covid made me stay a little longer, I spent a week in isolation and today I woke up to explosions and air raid sirens. War-life balance as it is.

The insane Ukrainian reality.
I was awake at 2 am (Kyiv), because I was helping a US journalist with an urgent story on productivity and work-life balance.

At that moment I got a message from my friend. Her brother died defending Ukraine. Tell me about WAR-life balance now.
