My parents grew up in communist Romania and told me stories of breadlines and suffering under that political system.

I saw it first hand when I visited Romania at 10 years old.

I tried to tell a joke about Ceasescu in a restaurant and my mother’s friends covered my mouth as I was about to say his name.

They feared the consequences for me of even saying his name in public- and I was just a kid.

Communism isn’t a reasonable option for a political system.

It doesn’t work for the people.

It has never worked to better the lives of the people.

Capitalism isn’t perfect, but at least it was a system my parents could flee to with $5 in their pocket, work at the CNE selling candy floss and doing whatever they could.

Eventually buying a home and giving our family a middle class lifestyle that wasn’t an option under a communist regime.

My father had absolutely no education, but he and my mother worked hard and were rewarded for it.

I get it kids, because you don’t know the history of the system you see it as this utopian ideal where everyone is provided for, but the reality is this:

While the rich would be less rich, the poor would be even more poor.

That’s how it plays out in practice.

Every.

Single.

Time.

It leads to famine.

It leads to death.

Mao Zedong, the founder of the People’s Republic of China is responsible for more death than any other leader in history, estimated 40-80 million people.

Why do you think that is?

Anytime you hear people push for anything like “Equality of Outcome,” beware…that outcome is bleak.

The Chinese Yuan is worth 377,285,009 BTC. Rekt.

The U.S. Dollar is worth 183,870,703 BTC. Rekt.

The Euro is worth 152,303,623 BTC. Rekt.

Everything is trending down in Bitcoin terms. Forever.

When I first made this post in October of 2024, Nvidia was worth 46,361,000 bitcoins, Apple was worth 55,246,000 bitcoins, and Tesla was worth 12,874,000 bitcoins.

That means since then...

Nvidia has declined by 23%

Apple has declined by 53%

Tesla has declined by 36%

This is happening as you read these words. Everything is getting repriced inside of Bitcoin's 21 million supply.

This means two things:

1) Everything is going down in BTC terms, because there is constantly new productivity being created, but there is a finite, fixed supply of BTC. The current amount of productivity *has to go down in BTC terms* to make room for the new productivity to be priced in BTC. The faster new productivity is created, the faster everything else trends down in BTC price.

2) If everything is going down in BTC terms, the inverse is also true: BTC is going up in value against everything else.

Is this actually true?

Well, ask yourself... has BTC outperformed everything else since it was created in 2009?

Well then.

The world is waking up to Bitcoin. This will make the California gold rush look like a neighborhood garage sale.

Everything is trending down in BTC terms, and BTC is going up in value, forever.

El periodismo tradicional habla de la “derrota” de ayer con frases como: “Duro revés para el gobierno”, “Golpe autoinflingido”, “torpeza política”, etc.
Permítanme disentir y decir que lo de ayer, es lo mejor que pudo haber pasado.
La casta política NO VA A CAMBIAR nunca.
Son los mismos que vetaron a los jubilados el 82 por ciento móvil, que les robaron sus ahorros al llevarse las AFJPs, y que en el 2023 les bajaron las jubilaciones un 30 por ciento!
Con este gobierno, que evitó el infierno hiperinflacionario que nos habían plantado, las jubilaciones ya recuperaron un 15 por ciento, y seguirán mejorando, ya que no nos desviaremos nunca del rumbo.
La táctica de la oposición es siempre la misma: cuando no están gobernando, van a hacer lo imposible por destruir al país, porque es su única posibilidad de volver a manejar lo que para ellos es el negocio de la política.
Lo que necesita el país es que cada vez más gente se dé cuenta.
Votaciones como la de ayer, son pruebas contundentes que confirman esto.

Lo que pasó hoy en el Congreso es excelente para el país de cara al futuro, si entendemos sus implicancias económicas y políticas:
Desde el punto de vista económico, no tendrá ningún impacto, porque hay CERO probabilidad de que nuestro presidente/nuestro gobierno, lo convalide. El equilibrio fiscal NO SE NEGOCIA.
Desde el punto de vista político, pone en evidencia a todos los políticos que quieren que vuelva la época de la emisión, la inflación descontrolada y el caos, con tal de tener alguna chance de volver al poder. Es tan torpe la jugada de pensar que pueden tomar a la sociedad por tonta (nuevamente!), que solo puede explicarse desde la desesperación.
Conclusión: siempre iban a perder en Octubre, pero ésto aumenta las probabilidades de una verdadera paliza. 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
