@kwwua4@VitoComedy So two different things, like I said. One can think that it is OK to force parents, as a society, to commit to a minimum of parental responsibility towards their children but also think woman shouldn't be forced to be pregnant against their will.
@AmericanMisty@VitoComedy There is no need for laws specifically for that; it would just make everything more complicated for the cases when abortion is required and put the life of a pregnant woman in danger, as we are seeing happen in places where such laws exist.
@RickCabeza@VitoComedy 1) All these people chose and freely consentend to do those things and 2) I require their work, not using their bodily function directly.
@NarodowyKor_PL@marionumber4 "Life is threatened" is super vague. If the doctor think she has 5% chance of dying is that enough or not? How do you determine what "threatening enough for abortion" is? What if the woman thinks her situation is threatening her life enough but not the law or the doctors?
@FerdaBoiise@Foxytocinn predominant, but not by very much, even on PC, just based on your own source. Your own image says it's a 43%/57% split between woman and man players on *PC*
@L1G0R3@SawtelleAn5682 For 3, I understand that the order we see today is due to natural laws, not pure random chaos. For 4, I understand consciousness arise as an emergent property of our brain activity and that morality is a man made abstraction.
@L1G0R3@SawtelleAn5682 Not beleiving in a god does not imply any of the 4 beleifs. It doesn't mean you beleive that the universe created itself from nothing. It doesn't mean you have to beleive life arose spontaneously. It doesn't mean that you have to beleive pure randomness created complex order.
@L1G0R3@SawtelleAn5682 For example, I don't know how or if the universe was created, so I don't beleive in 1. For 2, I understand life is a spectrum and arose not spontaneously but from chemistry that complexified over largw period of time.
@Davorunner@SawtelleAn5682 Nothing is logical. None of the 4 points follow from just not beleiving in a god. For example you could be an atheist and beleive we are all in a complex simulation and the 4 points would be invalid (that's not what I beleive, it's just an example to show how they are illogical)
