@TheSaintCentre Probably played better and contributed more to goals as a wingback. But it’s not okay to suggest that as apparently a wingback is a defender…
@Binnsphilip Nobody else in the squad could play those two passes. He’s worth a place in the team just for those moments. He was also working his socks off (relative for him) too.
@MartinSLewis Did 100 per day for one year then increased to 120 per day (in sets of 40) last year. Added a daily 1 min plank too. Good to have these little goals
@Hxzzam@AdamBlackmore Agree with this. It’s very much 3 at the back (total) not 5. Fellows and manning advanced as wingbacks. I bet fellows’ ‘average position’ was just as far up against Hull as it was against Doncaster. Nobody moaned about the formation when we won 6 in 7.
@AdamBlackmore Significantly worse football with a back 4. Fellows just as effective as a rwb. Thb better in a back 3. Honestly think the back 3 “5” is overstated as the problem. Yes we scored in the second half but created far more clear chances in first half
@SouthamptonFC@SkyBetChamp This “5 at the back” moaning is nonsense. It’s 3. And manning/fellows are often our most advanced players - scoring / assisting. The left/right CB cover the ‘full back’ positions.
