Comic creators I 100% look up to, Finger, Stan Lee, Neil, Miller, McFarlane, Capullo, Liefeld, Silvestri, Larsen, Keown, Kieth, Platt, Ottley, there’s more, but these I am directly influenced by!
I love story telling. I should clarify, I love to draw my stories/plot and sometimes script. Sometimes ink. But story unfolding and growing is my minds eye!
I always got sad when a great cover is on a mediocre book.
Personally, I would rather draw 10 great covers and you open my book to know the greatness doesn’t stop!
That’s what I’m working on.
I would draw a cool cover for Liefeld, but I don’t think the image guys like me. That’s fine if so. Regardless, no one ever asks me. I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing! Cheers!
I use to have big dreams to work with image. Never happened. Maybe one day I’ll get it? Eventually I will have to find a publisher for what I already created. For now, Working on my Marvel secret weapon. Coming along every day. Draft development stage. Finals are typically quick!
Artist thrive on one another’s work. When that dies. You know something is wrong. Boss realist painters deserve realism in comics. Everyone else needs to be emphasizing exaggeration in which the art form was born from!
I’m in the self taught class. Often I see two major mistakes and more than less it’s an artist trained expecting a paycheck with no desire to expand. Second, an artist that’s not using their imagination to it’s full capacity.
