My last project of the semester at Boise State is almost out.
Humanizing Science follows two grad students and asks who scientists actually are. Trailer is up. Full film goes into review this week and drops next week.

"40 Bits" placed third at BSU's ArtSci exhibition. Named after the stat that humans process 40–60 bits/sec consciously. Industrial control panels ignore that. Printed on aluminum so it reads like the thing it's critiquing.
I am super excited to be running a workshop at @hackfortfest ! Stop by to learn how you can use some cheap parts to track the temperature of your house or if your garage door is open. I'll be running my workshop from 1pm - 1:50pm on Saturday 3/28 so come say howdy!

Been about a year since I was actively taking consulting work or commissions through Anomalous Designs. Changing that this week.
New site. New portfolio pieces. Photography finally organized.
MechE, ECE, software, web dev, marketing, graphic design, art, and more!

SXSW 2026 has been unreal.
Met amazing founders, had conversations that actually changed how I think about a few things, and discovered Austin has some of the best street murals I've ever seen!

1 minute. That's all I had to pitch QTex AI as an alternate at SXSW Student Pitch — company, mission, impact, faster than brushing your teeth. What a ride!
If your electrical team needs more capacity without more headcount, join the waitlist!

@beneater A perfect example of why circuit design overwhelms big AI systems. Too much missing context, too many implicit constraints.
That’s why we’re building https://t.co/g3AnW7Pj7g! Engineers helping engineers with real datasheets, not vibes-only answers.
Started the semester with a science communication class and wrote a reflection on why technical work isn’t finished until it’s communicated. On sharing work, building trust, and communicating with intention. Check it out!

Howdy folks, I wanted to start the year with an introduction, the name's Oliver! I'm building at the intersection of hardware, software, and people. Excited to keep growing QTex and meet more folks building real systems this year.
