You think they didn't SEE those jobs? Coal mines were there. War was there. Digging ditches, building railroads, dying at 30 from hard labor…that was there for THOUSANDS of years.

They were QUIET. No protests. No "we want equal rights to work in the mines."

Then suddenly... factories. Offices. Chairs. AC. Typewriters. Safe, clean, indoor work that men invented with machines.

NOW it's "We deserve to work! We deserve to vote!" we are oppressed.

Feminism wasn't a random awakening.

It was a planned movement timed perfectly for when being a man stopped meaning hard labor and started meaning privilege.

They didn't want equality with men. You wanted equality with the REWARDS men created AFTER they did all the suffering

The same expert Sanusi said in 2012 that whoever became President in 2015 would experience serious economic challenges unless subsidy was completely yanked off.
He even said that Nigeria would then know what an economic problem was, and that the Greek situation would be a child’s play.

But when Buhari got in, all of the indicators Sanusi predicted happened, and the economy went into recession. But Buhari was able to pull us out and save the economy from collapse, eventually bequeathing a higher GDP growth rate to Bola than he inherited from Goodluck.

But Sanusi was just criticising anyhow, instead of reflecting on his failed 2012 predictions. So those who go for him may have learnt from his actions.

His expert predictions were wrong and he failed to acknowledge that.
So, nothing special in his warnings.

Besides, Nigerians are yet to see and feel the benefits of the so-called “economic reforms (deforms, rather)”.

Dream On, Football.

I still dream of playing football.

That might surprise you, coming from someone who plays it for a living.
But it’s true.

I still dream of playing with my friends.
Playing until sunset. Until dinner.
Playing just because it was a game, long before it could become a career.

I have followed this dream for as long as I can remember.

Once again it has led me to one of the biggest changes in my life.

Now, I find myself surrounded by innovators who dream of the same things I do.

Of bringing foot as close as possible to ball.
Of bringing the people as close as possible to the game.
Of bringing the world as close as possible to play.

I guess that’s the thing about dreams that refuse to change.
They’re usually the ones that change everything.
