In 2022, Harvard disinvited guest speaker Dr. Devon Buckley for suggesting transgender men should not be incarcerated with biological women.

Yet, tomorrow, Harvard will be inviting Mohammed El Kurd yet again to campus.

Mohammed has proclaimed that Jews eat the organs of Palestinians, that massacres against Jews should be normalized, and recently argued that "all Zionists should perish."

This is an obvious violation of the Discrimnation policies Harvard reluctantly agreed to as part of their settlement.

Harvard DEI has mandatory Title IX training for all Harvard freshmen where they instruct that fatphobia, cisheterosexism, and ageism are prohibited because they “contribute to an environment that perpetrates violence.”

Yet, calling for the murder of Jews is entirely acceptable under the Harvard DEI rubric.

My thoughts on the Egyptian plan for Gaza:

Egypt is a failing state, barely capable of governing its own population and territory, which casts a long shadow of doubt about its ability to oversee such a complex nation-building effort.

Neither Hamas nor UNWRA can be a part of Gaza’s future. The Egyptian proposal does not address how the Gazan population will be de-radicalized to prevent the resurgence of extremism. In fact, the Egyptians even fail to hold Hamas accountable for the destruction and death caused by their October 7 invasion of Israel.

The the very idea of a Palestinian bureaucracy in Gaza that isn’t directly controlled by Hamas is a deception. Hamas has spent the last 17 years oppressing the Gaza Strip and eradicating any opposing political structure.

The Egyptian proposal is an affront to American mediation efforts and challenges the leadership of President Trump.

For more than two decades, Egypt has been playing a cynical and dishonest game: allowing all of the weapons that were used by Hamas to be delivered through Egyptian territory, while reaping international credit for negotiating cease-fires once those weapons were used against Israel (2008, 2012, 2014, 2021 and 2023). Israel should not allow Egypt to continue these nefarious practices.

The Egyptians also fail to assume any responsibility for the tremendous humanitarian suffering caused by their decision not to allow Gazan civilians to flee the war zone. I believe Egypt should be held accountable for its cruelty against their fellow Muslims.

Lastly, you probably only need to know that Hamas supports the Egyptian proposal to understand that it is a bad one for Palestinians, for Israel and for the region.
