What's everyone's current Science-Fiction and Fantasy reads? Mine is Andy Weir's The Martian because I read Artemis and loved it and so wanted to try more by the same author. His new book, Project Hail Mary, is out now and I will be purchasing it soon!!
A wise way to look at your WIPs I find is to let it flow in the first draft as naturally as you can and then come back to edit into consistency afterwards and of course there’s no time limit on when you can achieve your dreams so keep going!! ❤️
Hey guys, sorry it’s been radio silence for a little while - what’s everyone’s current reads - mine is the Martian by Andy Weir because I loved Artemis by him and I’m a fan of going to another book by the same author and he smashes it out of the ball park every time in my eyes 🤩
Note to self: don’t be stubborn enough to think you’ll remember your good idea in the morning without writing it down. You won’t and then you’ll be sad about it the next day. Absolute moron.

I’ve written two articles for Details Magazine - published today - if you wanna read them you can find them on my website - the url is in the bio of my writer insta (ollyhaltonwrites) 💖💖
The Hobbit is one of my favourite fantasy books, a real classic and the start of the genre and of a whole new age of literature for that matter.
Another fantasy book that I love is the Islands of Fandye by Ollie Locke.
Just some things to add to your reading list if you havent:)
By the way I've also been making a sneaky little website - the URL for which can be found in the bio of my Insta and I'll put it in the bio here in a sec too lol - go check that out to see about my writing inspirations and current works - including a new environmental piece
