@AmericanGwyn I genuinely love your posts and I love Mccarthy’s writing, but having sat a horse in a cold morning rounding up cattle, I can tell you saddles creak in hit, warm, cool, and cold weather. I, for one, could not tell the difference in the creak and the temperature.
