@josephnollasj I am one of the disappointed… I can see some theology there but I still feel it is missing being a sign of service to all of the people. Luckily my parishes will carry on regardless!
@FrTotleben92742 @MatthewSitman I wonder about your charity to another brother priest. Indeed have your opinion but air it in the correct way - ie a letter to him or to his superior but gossiping on a platform like this to belittle another brother in Christ lacks charity.
Eternal rest grant unto Pope Francis. You have been the voice of the voiceless, the champion of the poor.
May perpetual light shine upon you, just as you have shone on this world.
GCSE Success 💜🧡
We are absolutely delighted with our GCSE results. The results are testament to the hard work and commitment of the staff and the students and thank them all for being so determined and focused on the end goal all the way through - Principal Mrs. Conaghan

An invitation to all! ✉️ Bishop Patrick invites you to a free online webinar, Tuesday 21st May, 6-8PM, led by best-selling author, and eminent speaker Sherry Weddell!
Sherry, who is co-founder and co-director of the Catherine of Siena Institute and the author of ‘Forming Intentional Disciples’; ‘Becoming a Parish of Intentional Disciples’; and ‘Fruitful Discipleship: Living the Mission of Jesus in the Church and in the World’ - has developed numerous unique formation resources that are used around the world, and she will share her inspirational ideas on how Catholics can explore their Mission to bring all people closer to Christ.
The seminar will be particularly relevant to parish catechists, teachers, pastoral ministers, religious, priest and deacons, and parishioners who wish to know more about evangelisation.
We hope and pray that this seminar will re-energise Catholics to truly be strong Missionary Disciples.

Today’s decision on the Rwanda policy leaves desperate people fleeing conflict and persecution in limbo. I hope the Government will reflect and reconsider its approach.
Let’s put aside the politics of division and work together to build an asylum system based on fairness, compassion and the God-given dignity of every human being.
I remind you that next Friday, 27 October, I have proclaimed a day of fasting, prayer and penance, and that evening at 18.00 in Saint Peter’s Square we will spend an hour in prayer to implore peace in the world.
