Police Bullet Stole My Future, Says Ibadan Poly Graduate..

For Nurudeen Azeez, August 16, 2021, marked the end of the life he had planned.

The Polytechnic, Ibadan graduate says he was returning to his apartment after arriving from Lagos when a police bullet allegedly struck him while he was riding on a commercial motorcycle.

Azeez recalled hearing a gunshot before realising he had been hit. He said that the officer who fired the shot asked him to stand up, but he couldn't because the bullet had damaged his spine.

He further claimed the officers left the scene, leaving passersby and a colleague who recognised him to rescue him and rush him to the hospital.

The shooting, according to Azeez, left him permanently paralysed and confined to a wheelchair, shattering the dreams he had worked hard to build.

He is appealing to Nigerians to help him walk again❤️
