@AmerChemSociety
Hi,
I am Destiny Chinedu Oluikpe, chemistry graduate from Babcock University (BS.c), MS.c (OOU) and currently, a Graduate teaching assistant at Babcock University.
I joined ACS last year and i have enjoyed being part of this society. I have visibly seen
1. Online tutorial classes on Mathematics, English language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
2. Remote Educational consultancy services for primary and secondary schools
3. External examinations preparations on JAMB, WAEC, SAT, GAMSAT, IGSCE and GRE

More good news.
Don Anele Munachimso also won gold in Science.
He is the best in world science.
Remember, he is the best in IGCSE Chemistry in Nigeria.
The investment is worth it.
The wait is over.
We have 2 golds: Chimdiebube Onwubiko and Don Anele Munachimso.
We are the best in the world!
Egejurum Onyedikachi’s name was omitted. He should have a gold.
Today, the results of the Math Olympiad will be announced.
These brilliant IGBO children from the SOUTH EAST are gunning for gold.
We wish them outstanding success and hope their hard work is rewarded with excellent results.
The South East is proud of you.
Wishing you all the very best, champions.
say maybe you buy a 750ml bottle and it contains 7% alcohol, that means 7% of that amount is alcohol which is 52,5ml ,
say maybe every sip you take is 25ml that means 7% of that (which is 1,75ml)is alcohol so for every 25ml sip ,you consume 1,75ml of alcohol .
for every 750ml ,there’s thirty 25ml sips.
so 1,75 alcohol for every sip times 30 =52,5ml which is 7% of the entire bottle and 100% of the alcohol in the bottle.
7% of alcohol in 1000mL means 7ml of alcohol in 1 litre (1000mL).
This means that 7ml of alcohol will be evenly distributed throughout a liter of drink
The sip doesn't add up or accumulate the alcohol intake but it's divided throughout the drink
I feel this is very wrong.
A sip doesn't add up the alcohol intake. The alcohol percentage by sip can't be more than the total percentage of the bottle
If a bottle has 7% alcohol, it means that the other 93% is water or other liquid.
Every sip contains about 7% alcohol by volume (ABV), assuming the drink is well mixed (which beer, cider, and most alcoholic drinks are).
Let’s calculate laidis:
A drink labeled 7% ABV means 7% of the liquid is pure alcohol, So if you take a small sip, that sip is still about 7% alcohol.
If you drink half the bottle, you’ve consumed about half of the total alcohol in the bottle, If you finish the whole bottle, you’ve consumed all of the alcohol in it.
For example:
A 500 mL bottle at 7% ABV contains about 35 mL of pure alcohol (7% of 500 mL).
A 50 mL sip from that bottle contains about 3.5 mL of pure alcohol.
So the percentage doesn’t “build up” as you drink, it stays the same throughout the bottle. What changes is the total amount of alcohol you’ve consumed as you take more sips
Somebody said he will set up a vote-buying fundraiser for Peter Obi 😂😂
Since Vote Buying is Nigerian’s problem, he will do it and if Peter Obi tries to stop him, he will sue him use the damages for more Vote buying for Peter Obi.
Another one said he is setting up ballot snatching comrades.
While I understand the frustration and the desperation to get Nigeria working, we must not let APC think they are the only one with Madness.
That thing wey their mama tell dem, our mama tell us too.
A good day to remind all Igbo youths to learn from Abia state youths how they are securing their villages from Fulani t£rrorists. Abia is active, Anambra is at alert, Ebonyi is lukewarm, Imo is distracted and the worse Enugu is sleeping. Wake up, rise and guard your community.
