I was honored to recreate this iconic moment from Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5th, 2025 - the moment Ozzy was lifted onto the stage on his throne, a fleeting moment where he flashed his signature hand gesture to the crowd during his final live performance.

Mixed media on wooden panel. This piece was created using both painted and physical elements, which include a hand sculpted resin bat, rose applique and sections of train tracks taken from a deconstructed set. The surface was primed and developed through layered acrylic and oil paint to create depth and distortion. An exploration of contrast in elements and colors to capture both the playful and darker aspects of Ozzy's persona

"Me & the Devil Blues" - Remembering Robert
Johnson , godfather of the blues and a short life shrouded in mystery. In the old days, The Blues was dubbed as 'The devils music', It originated around the time Robert Johnson was allegedly claimed to have made a deal with the devil at the crosswords in the Mississippi Delta, disappearing for one year only to come back...a master of the guitar!
But there was more to Johnson than the myth we all wish to believe. RJ loved gamblin' he also loved his whiskey and women.
When I decided to paint him I found myself at my own personal crossroads. I knew I did not want to be completely taken by the myth yet at the same time I did not know which direction I was heading with it. The process eventually led me to integrate an additional element into the artwork in reference to my favorite song 'Little Queen of Spades'.
