Today is our Grand Opening, and we are opening the doors to a new destination for Black and African creativity, culture and connection in the heart of London.

A space rooted in Africa, inspired by London and open to everyone.

A place where film, fashion, food, music and art come together.

A place to experience, discover, connect and celebrate.

We invite the world to come inside.

𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐔𝐌

160 seats. Cinema. Culture. Entertainment.

Home to the only Black and African cinema in the United Kingdom, Amani is where premieres, screenings, performances, listening parties and special events come to life.

✨🇨🇳A café in China. The service isn’t fast. No one complains.

The staff include people with Down syndrome and autistic people.

Maybe what they’re really serving is patience, dignity, and inclusion. ☕️

[Stanford University @Stanford]

The most important briefings of the day.

Karl Deisseroth, professor of bioengineering and of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, shares the news of his Nobel Prize with his kids.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

Absolutely.

You’ll begin to see things differently—you’ll realise that it’s not really about your own needs anymore, but about meeting the needs of others.
Then GOD begins to entrust you as a channel.

[Olúwatósìn Olaseinde @tosinolaseinde]

You will almost not have a prayer request because thanks giving becomes your life. Amennnnnnnnn

@IAmSteveHarvey Saying no to something that would cost me later on.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@yorubachic Well done, Oyíndà.
We must preserve our language and culture.

A Tanzanian teacher greets his students, some of them visually impaired, by cleaning their shoes and speaking words of affirmations to them.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@Delly_Manna @OgbeniAdugbo I understand your point.
But it's not everything time.

Some people have made some connections for me without benefiting from it...but I appreciated them.

I have also done for some people and when I was offered a cut, I declined.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

This is amazing.

Beautiful moment siblings surprised their big brother, who stepped up as both their father and mother after their parents passed away, sponsored their education, helped them relocate abroad, and even sponsored their weddings. ❤️

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@lolashoneyin Kids are amazing with true expressions.
I hope the mummy will take note of that 😃

We must intentionally shape the foundation for our kids.
Well done, Ma 👏🏽

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@lolashoneyin 🥰🤗

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@modelstrangers I love this.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@BamaStephen Stay positive.
The LORD be with you.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

Awesome guy. GOD bless him.

[Nuvaid Vaidyaravida @NuvaidV]

Good things can be learnt from any country, nothing wrong in it. This is what our kids, our country's students & teachers must yearn to do. Not all the nauseating shit we see where kids who should be in school are talking & doing filthy things!

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@lkimlj Be strong Andrew. You're loved.
GOD loves you greatly.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@elonmusk Cool fantasy and idea, but I'll prefer to see that in movies here on planet earth 🌏

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@tosinolaseinde Everyone won't go to school, and some may even choose to drop out later.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@Olas_Truth Congratulations.
Speedy recovery I pray, and for many across the globe.

[Oluoba-James Olabode @OluobaO]

@herrymoor For the times you've lost, GOD will add surplus into your life within a short timeframe in JESUS name Amen 🙏🏾
Congratulations, keep flying higher!
