Hundreds have attended a ceremony of light and reflection in Buncrana to remember three local schoolboys killed in the Real IRA car bomb atrocity twenty years ago today. Twenty nine people died, including a woman pregnant with twins, and hundreds others were injured #OmaghBombing

Three of the victims who died in the #Omagh bombing were schoolboys from Buncrana, Donegal. Gerard McLaughlin’s brother was badly injured and his cousin Oran Doherty was one of the youngest victims killed. Gerard's been speaking to @teresamcraig.

Omagh will forever remain a unimaginable scandal. But I wonder where investigative/judicial process would have taken us had right police team been in charge from the outset. Evidential opportunities missed. Intelligence withheld. Victims and families will never have closure.
