We continue to work with local officials to identify community needs after last night's storms and the power outages that followed. We have a shelter open at our Red Cross office in Omaha (2912 S. 80th Ave.). All who need a place to cool off or to charge devices are welcome.

Cooling Centers
Power is restored to the City Hall Campus so the Community Center will serve as a cooling center. We'll have bottled water, free WiFi and plenty of room to sit and charge devices.

BREAKING: SCOTUS will hear Johnson v Grants Pass, a case about if homeless people can be punished for using things like pillow and blankets when sleeping outside if there are no safe shelters.

This is the biggest SCOTUS case about homelessness in decades.
