@StreetsblogNYC Yes TY, if the greys were cheaper these streets would be Overloaded with bikes.
Combine it with proper infrastructure and New Amsterdam will live up to its name.
@LinkofSunshine The problem is that it’s a medical solution to a behavioral problem. An easy fix.. An easy fix with potential side effects, good for some people but by no means a panacea. Discipline cannot be prescribed.
@StreetsblogNYC Instead of hiring cops to stand there and ticket, how about they use that money to fund the DOT and redesign that shitty entrance. That tiny little (concrete) wedge that thousands cyclists/pedestrians must use to go between Manhattan and Brooklyn every day is garbage.
@PeterGordon_CBP@SenWarren Agreed, worked my ass off paying student loans in full.. one of which being an MS (from Northeastern University..), it’s unacceptable (imo) to expect/demand everyone else to carry your burden for you. A degree is a personal endeavor, not an entitlement.
@Greenpointers Refreshing to see the Nypd (51st precinct) enforcing laws here. If one reviews the case, it’s apparent why force may have been warranted (repeat offender, resisting arrest, intoxicated, harassing, may have been carrying a weapon..).
@mayemusk I use the nyc subway (and have for many many years) and love it. The scare tactics/echo chamber here is depressing.. NYC is the only place in this nation with such an expansive system.. it’s a jewel. Also, not surprised that a car salesman dislikes public transit..
