Egypt has a peace treaty with Israel as well. And even though this is not too relevant Sisi is a Military leader (you could say dictator) not the best leader

Egypt is under huge economic stress right now they don’t feel they can accommodate refugees they’re already taking refugees in from Sudan 1/2

They gain more by being allies with the US and Israel than being allies with Palestine but we cannot deny that they do send aid and support Palestinians. 2/2

That’s the point I was making. Most Arab countries sympathize strongly with the Palestinians and have taken them as refugees. 1/2.

At the end of the day, it’s hard and to go and judge those people when I haven’t been in their position, I don’t know what anyone would do in their position. They committed horrible acts but they live miserable lives.

What I meant is that although they claim to be Islamic they are more politically driven. And the human shield part, Gaza is like 41km long it’s a small strip of land, they can’t really operate away from civilians
