@benjaminfelix The 2 in my circle I talk to about investing that say they r "income" guys are kind of frugal dudes, so they don't boast too much! They just keep telling me about how soon they'll retire because of the "cash flow" they get "for free". We all late 30's to early 40's people. 🙂

@benjaminfelix like, say what you will about the crowd, but those obsessed with finding that next rung of the "free cash flow" via dividend ETF's ladder, at least sticks to it! Meanwhile those obsessed with the "perfect portfolio" may lose overall due to switching strats often :(

@benjaminfelix Not surprised that these are marketed to "yield seeking" investors... Anecdotally I find "income investors" as they most obliviously unaware amongst the fi movement. That said, everyone I know that's an income investor is doing well financially! I bet is the adherence to dogma.

@WallStBlueprint @Smartnetworth1 Not only that, dividend "income" is a fallacy since shares go down by the amount they distribute on dividend... when you "re-invest" a dividend you are essentially at a "wash" on total equity returned. It's the most misunderstood BASIC principle in all of finance
