This is exactly how people lose credibility on a real issue.

Yes, Iran’s regime is brutal. Yes, executions and repression should be talked about. But when your post starts smuggling in nonsense like “hundreds of professors are on death row,” you are not helping anyone. You are inflating, distorting, and turning real suffering into propaganda.

And frankly, there is something ugly about an exiled Iranian choosing the exact moment her country is being attacked by Israel and the US to amplify that kind of messaging, as if those two states are credible moral referees on human rights. They are not. Both have a staggering amount of blood on their hands.

Criticize the Iranian regime, absolutely. But don’t do war PR for powers with a far worse record of mass killing, destruction, and hypocrisy.
