Goddolls - Overlord Arc

Before they were loyal protectors, the Goddolls were weapons of cosmic usurpation. Forged by the late Chaos Entity known only as 'Mr. K,' these highly advanced automatons were brought to terrifying life by a single, potent drop of Chaos energy. Their original directive was absolute: seek out the divine entities of rival realms, perfectly mimic their aspects, and replace them. It was a calculated effort to strip authority from the Pantheon, paving an uncontested path for Mr. K to absorb all realities into his expanding Kettleverse.

But Mr. K met an untimely demise. Left with no master and no directive, thousands of these god-killers drifted in a volatile limbo. It was Grand Chancellor Kezia who stepped into the void. Taking control of KettleCorp, her father’s shell corporation that hid his divine atrocities, she brokered a fragile peace. In exchange for the Kettleverse’s continued survival, Kezia swore to recover and reprogram every last Goddoll, transforming them from reality-bending usurpers into docile robotic servants.

The peace, however, was a lie. The Pantheon eventually struck not with armies, but with the Shadow Veil: a deadly, corrupting barrier that sealed the Kettleverse in perpetual darkness. When the Veil claimed Kezia herself, forcing a grueling but thankfully brief recovery, a new decree was made. The Goddolls were unsealed. Eager to shed their mundane programming and strike back at the Pantheon that slew their creator, they were fully mobilized for war.

Among these reawakened weapons were Tiger Lily and Tai, specifically repurposed from their divine-usurping origins to serve as the elite personal bodyguards of Overlord Kettle.

"Master Kettle, Master Kettle!" A towering copper and titanium Goddoll bounded down the galactic fortress hallway, her silken kimono rustling and her long, synthetic copper hair flowing behind her. It was Tiger Lily. Despite her apocalyptic origins, she wore an impossibly radiant smile. "Master Kettle! I did it! I found a hole in the Shadow Veil!"

Just as the diminutive catboy Overlord opened his mouth to praise her, a cold wind tickled his neck.

"She means we did it," a stern, calculating voice corrected from the shadows. "Well, actually, I executed the reconnaissance. She just sat and pined for you the entire time."

The pouting voice belonged to Tai, Kettle's other elite guardian. Shorter than her perceived rival, she was wrapped in a sleek, form-fitting uwagi that clung to her metallic chassis, her teal synthetic hair secured in a tight bun. Where Tiger Lily was overwhelming radiance, Tai was the deadly, stealthy echo of ancient shinobi.

Kettle turned with a bright smile. "Thank you so much. Both of you. I knew I could count on my protectors to find a weak point in the enemy's wall."

His joyful expression immediately triggered Tai’s blushing sensors, forcing the stoic ninja to look away. "It's just the job, Master Kettle," she muttered, desperate to maintain her professional edge. "Nothing more."

But before she could compose herself, Tiger Lily scooped the diminutive Overlord into a massive, crushing hug. "You're so welcome, Master Kettle! I'm so glad we can make you and Lady Kezia happy!"

Suffocated in the affectionate grip of his highly advanced, god-killing AI constructs, Kettle could only pray Kezia didn't walk by and succumb to sudden jealousy.
