As much as I do not want to do so, I will be going on an indefinite hiatus. My family is having me help with fixing up a house, and because of that I do not feel that even if I return to streaming that I could maintain a regular schedule. As such I am going on hiatus for now.
I am finding the situation funny since it is starting to feel like some cosmic entity or deity really just does not want me to finish this computer finally since I have been trying to build a new computer for years now.
Double checked the computer parts I ordered and realized I forgot to order a few things. So now I have a computer that is 99% ready to assemble but I managed to forget two of the most basic things. Luckily I should be able to get what is left next month.
After way, way too long, I finally have gathered all the parts needed to upgrade my computer. I still can't record or stream at the moment due to not having a space where I can do so, but I am just super excited to finally upgrade my computer.
Separate from the chaos of everything else going on, I am glad to see that two of the MMOs that I play both seem like they are set for large updates in the near future, but I also dread the potential for overlapping event periods in the games. Excited for the updates though.
Finally getting a chance to check social media again after being away for a few months, and dear goodness so much stuff freaking happened. I don't think I am anywhere close to being caught up on everything, and that is only for the major stuff I have seen mentioned.
I don't think I could have even remotely imagined so many things happening and changing in just a few months. At this point it seems like I just have to hope I don't get so busy that I can't at least check every couple days.
Due to how busy I am I will also still largely be away from social media for the foreseeable future. I will try to pay more attention however. It seems like I had missed a lot of things happen while away.
It is looking like my hiatus is back to an indefinite one from one with a definite end. I have finished moving at this point, but I am still unable to set my computer up to start streaming or recording once again.
Conditions and plans were not as I had originally been informed when I began moving. At this time I do not know when I will be able to set up my and start recording again. Part of that is because of the conditions of the house and the other part is due to how busy I am now.
The collection of index cards is a bit more important to me though. It has a lot of different notes for a game I had wanted to create in the past. It includes notes from quest dialogue to sketches of prototype UIs. Once I finish moving I want to look over the notes once again.
So while cleaning I have managed to find two things that I had thought had just simply been lost never to be found again. One is a collection of index cards held together by a binder clip and the other is my print copy for the code to a game I worked on while in university.
The code isn't anything super important to me, but it also gives me a chance to potentially sit down and work on improving it and expanding it from what it originally was. The game was just a simple turn based fighting game, but it was a fun project to work on for class.
I have to admit that this looks incredibly fun. Also, I have to admit that an am excited to just simply be able to punch things since it just seems humorous to me when compared to the other options for how you could fight.
A demon begins his HUNT. Become the master of the fist with the #MHWilds x #StreetFighter6 Special Collaboration!
The free Akuma hunter layered armor with special actions and Blanka-chan Palico layered armor arrive on May 28, alongside a cosmetic collab paid DLC pack.
@Fuululuu I didn't get called a "smart-ass", but I did get called "know-it-all" because I had a habit of giving detailed replies to questions, especially if it was a topic I had a decent bit of knowledge on because I thought people would want the most detailed response and not a quick one.
Since I have already mentioned the LEGO sets, once I finish moving and have my own space to unpack stuff in, I will try to take some pictures to show them if anyone happens to be interested in that.
If I were to figure out my possessions based purely on the amount of boxes used to pack them. Apparently about half of what I possess is trading cards and a quarter is LEGO sets. I honestly did not realize I had so many Yu-Gi-Oh and MTG cards.
It is humorous to me that some of the most active I have been on social media is while I am having to prepare to move. I just hope when I am done moving and actually need to be active on social media again that I can keep even just a fraction of this activity going.
@Fuululuu It is unfortunate that people use it for growth. Admittedly I am still periphery of the VTuber community so I probably just haven't had to see that happen enough to recall it yet since my interactions on social media tend to be sparse.
