@HEPennypack1@1ofthedunedain@paleochristcon I’ve been very busy, but tried to quickly respond- my brain went faster than my fingers in #2 lol
2) He demonstrated a huge flaw with secular morals which Christianity doesn’t have, and did so by taking the other position- that’s not a pivot, that’s a provision of proof.
@HEPennypack1@1ofthedunedain@paleochristcon 1) I’m confused… you said you completely agree with this one, but you said in your video that Andrew didn’t provide any proof. He did provide proof, as I described in #2.
@1ofthedunedain@HEPennypack1 Hello Penny and Dune, hope you’ve been well!
I did watch your video above, and I not only disagree with your assessment, but I can also demonstrate why you’re incorrect.
@paleochristcon does push back and does sometime get aggressive, but he’s usually sound and rational.
@Mikethewander1 @weimsupremacist @BeAncestral4U@TheeOnlyKi65942 I’m not talking about after death, silly goose 🤦♂️
I’m talking about things like: less divorces, less degeneracy, increased happiness, etc.
I’ll ask again: is it rational to want better outcomes for people?
@Mikethewander1 @weimsupremacist @BeAncestral4U@TheeOnlyKi65942 I agree- you can’t force a belief on someone.
My only point was to say there might be rational reasons to believe, counter to the OP.
@Mikethewander1 @weimsupremacist @BeAncestral4U@TheeOnlyKi65942 Humanity might cease to exist, but you didn’t answer my question: if believing might save humanity, is it more rational to believe?
@Mikethewander1 @weimsupremacist @BeAncestral4U@TheeOnlyKi65942 I think Women should also get their tubes tied (reversible of course) because it takes 2 to tango, and women are no less innocent.
Also birthrates are currently down, and if this trend doesn’t change, there will be zero mouths to feed anywhere. I think that’s a worse outcome.
@Mikethewander1@BeAncestral4U@TheeOnlyKi65942 1) If a person is smart, how is a group of people not smart? You’re .gif makes no sense 🤷🏼♂️
2) If something tends to almost always lead to better outcomes and provides an epistemological foundation, and it can’t be disproven, is it not more rational to believe?
@HEPennypack1 @weimsupremacist @TheMSeries1 I’m just curious how this spiraled so quickly. While I admit he can sometimes be overzealous, I don’t see anything bad faith here.
I’ve barely been on here for the last several weeks, so I’m catching up a little- have you two been in a heated discussion recently?
@HEPennypack1 @weimsupremacist @TheMSeries1 To be fair, he was actually behaving here, and you started name calling.
People are allowed to have differing views, right? It’s what makes America great. 😎🇺🇸
@BeAncestral4U@TheeOnlyKi65942 If you can’t prove it’s not true, and it seems more beneficial to believe it is true, is it not more reasonable to believe?
