@TheKinglyKoopa@LonelyGoomba i'm sure i could think of more.
i broadly don't have any issues with the audio/visual side of things. i'm sure there's nitpicks there but the entire show sounded and looked good all the way through. the animation was incredibly expressive and the VA was emotive and immersive.
@TheKinglyKoopa@LonelyGoomba when the characters are discussing past events and their personal past, it often is written as if everybody is learning these things about each other for the first time. especially in the noir bar scene, it's bizarre. it's been years, and nobody knew ragatha was a horse girl? lol
@LonelyGoomba I think the main sticking point I have is that Ragatha needed more screentime interacting with Pomni, and more depth into her mask. As it stands it falls flat. She could have been a healthy example of lifting your mask and creating genuine connection. It just, kinda happens, tho.
@LonelyGoomba The more I think about the more beautiful it is. Yes, it has a myriad of issues, but I think the things it wanted to say, to show, to do, it did so quite well overall.
@tobyfox i'm exploding from excitement who did the deltarune harmony in the opening that was so cool and omg asriel x dess is real i'm like 2 minutes in and i'm lightheaded
@bread157 unless by quality you mean like acting quality? in which case idk they're kinda bad in different ways. i find the originals more endearing and often more emotive.
unless by quality you mean like, fidelity? in which case "but without the n64 compression" is doing a lot of work
@bread157 you're insane, the first example is nothing alike at all. I'm sure most of the voice actors were trying to get the same tone and cadence as the originals which is why you might be fooled by some of the deliveries. these are definitely all new recordings.
@BYoshi715@LonelyGoomba@ChrisHa24052572 kinda depends how much you enjoy references, how quickly and how accurately you figured out the twist, and how emotionally invested you are in the characters, of course jax in particular.
@thegrayfruit@Squido555 ye it might get more exploration in the coming chapters but atm it's just theory bait and that's fine. it's a mysterious little cat that's in some different places and that's kinda it atm.
@AstroExisting Abuse in real life is often never clear cut and obvious. As an outsider it can be difficult to identify until you have enough time to see the patterns. What were just gags, sometimes mean-spirited, wouldn't come to be read as abuse until it became obvious in hindsight.
