Growing up, we were constantly taught about the dangers of cultism, and I'm grateful for that. When I got into higher institution, an old secondary school mate and his friends tried convincing me to join their group instead of others. One day, they even asked me to jump into a bus with them for a "party."

I immediately called my friend and made an excuse about having classes that day. That decision helped me walk away from something that could have changed my life for the worse.

Since then, I've been very careful about the company I keep. I can be friends with anyone, travel anywhere, and visit people freely, but the moment I discover you're involved in cultism, I create distance. No friendship is worth risking my future, peace of mind, or safety.
