Healing the world, one person at a time. ✨
Sharing thoughts as they come, helpful tips from personal experience, habits I've picked up, and relatable content.
I think it's really overlooked how our childhood experiences shape the adults we become. Whether as a result of the way our parents treated us, what we watched them do or say, the environment we grew up in, even the experiences we had no choice but to partake in.
As for the job...
I started building reasonable skills first and soft skills.
Alongside sending out CVs and being as audacious as I can to speak up and let people help me.
You honestly never know who's carrying your answered prayers.
They might just know the person you need.
They changed their circumstances but never fixed their identity.
So the jealousy remains.
I'll stop here before I start writing a whole book. 😭😂
Part 2 drops soon. Trust me... this is where it gets interesting. 💋
That's why you see cases where someone is clearly doing better financially than you, yet they're still jealous of you.
They have the money...
But you're the one attracting opportunities.
You're the one receiving the genuine love they crave.
The best way to put it is that it brought about unnecessary low self-esteem.
Babygirl got tired of that and decided to stop caring as much and just live.
Imagine God gives me that phone today and it gets stolen tomorrow.
It's back to square one if I never fixed the root cause.
The same me that desired a new phone still tied (I'm using past tense because I'm working on it ) my importance to a phone.
As if without it, I shouldn't be as free as I wanted.
Or that someone with a better phone was somehow superior to me.
What is that even about? 😭
I'll list three things I've been asking God for:
A new phone.
A job.
A fit body (not exactly a prayer point, but it's something I really want).
Having a fit body would definitely boost my confidence because it'll be easier to make progress when I love what I see in the mirror.
If there's one thing I desire concerning this "putting myself out there" thing, it's for people to be able to relate and fix an issue in their own lives.
The fun part is that I don't have all the answers.
I'm literally growing too, and I just want to carry people along.
I came across a video today, and the question the creator asked at the end had me thinking.
She asked, "If the prayer you're desperately begging God to answer finally comes to pass... are you prepared for it?"
Na once my head spark because she was speaking to me directly.
I think she even smiled at me for the first time. 😗
That moment has stuck with me ever since.
It wasn't even about church at the time.
It was just a personal experience that made me become very careful with the things I agree with and the words that come out of my mouth.
